The programme provides students with multidisciplinary skills to produce professionals able to work in diverse areas of the broad field of Civil Engineering. Potential occupations include engineering design, construction management, employment at a government regulatory agency, specialized field and laboratory testing and analysis, operation and maintenance of civil engineering works, site planning and development as well as contract oversight. Civil engineering professionals work with architects, engineers from other disciplines, contractors, government officials, business people, and finance/insurance specialists. The bachelor's program also prepares students to pursue studies for a master's degree.

About Course

The total number of credits needed to complete the programme is 240 The programme is divided into five categories: natural sciences (51 credits), economics and human sciences (17 credits), fundamental technical knowledge (117 credits), specialized technical knowledge (40 credits), thesis course (15 credits). 1 credit equals one ECTS credit, and 1 credit is defined as 25 student working ours.

Requirements

Copy of secondary/high school graduation results
copy of courses studied. For the fields of engineering, agricultural and business and administration studies
evidence of the study of mathematics is required (school leaving certificate final results).
TOEFL 513 / IELTS 5.5 /oral examination, TOEFL IBT test score of 66 (issued in the last two years).

Certificate of any standardised international English language exam corresponding with Hungarian B2 at the Bachelors level and C1 at Master's level issued by an accredited language centre/ academic institution.
