About Course

The total number of credits needed to complete the programme is 180 + 30 credits. 1 credit equals one ECTS credit, and 1 credit is defined as 25 student working hours

Programme educational objectives:

he International Business Economics BSc programme at Széchenyi István University is designed to train graduates who are capable of handling negotiations at a high level, in Hungarian and in foreign languages, who are capable of performing and managing international business activities in possession of their economic and applied economics studies. They are prepared to continue their training at the master's level. Our programme educational objectives (PEOs) are as follows:

Graduates will master the basic concepts, theories, facts and interconnections of the national and international economy regarding the relevant economic actors, functions and processes.

Graduates will able to formulate independent decision-preparation suggestions in an oral or written form, in Hungarian or in foreign languages, according to the rules of professional communication. They will take responsibility for analyses, conclusions, and decisions made.

Students will stay updated with contemporary changes and engage in lifelong learning. They will be open to new information, to new professional knowledge and methodologies, and to performing new tasks and tasks that require cooperation.

Graduates will conduct themselves ethically, contribute to societal well-being through their work and advance professionally in their careers.

Requirements

Copy of secondary/high school graduation results
copy of courses studied. For the fields of engineering, agricultural and business and administration studies
evidence of the study of mathematics is required (school leaving certificate final results).
TOEFL 513 / IELTS 5.5 /oral examination, TOEFL IBT test score of 66 (issued in the last two years).

Certificate of any standardised international English language exam corresponding with Hungarian B2 at the Bachelors level and C1 at Master's level issued by an accredited language centre/ academic institution.
